Candy Cap (Lactarius Rubidus)
 
We’ve been able to populate a few slants with this limited time culture. 
 
This is a very unique culture. Its a one of a few different variaties that has a wonderful scent of maple syrup. These mushrooms are mainly used as a flavouring in dishes and desserts (cakes, ice creams, custards, etc). 
 
This culture is a symbiotic type culture that will require oak trees for growth. We are currently experimenting with cultivating techniques.
